Lesbian Play Reading Series Begins Sept. 19 at GLCC Pride Center PDF Print E-mail

The Women's Theatre Project is pleased to announce the presentation of Blind Spot by Colette Freedman as part of the group's Lesbian Play Reading Series. The series begins Sunday, September 19, at 2 PM.


Set in a small university town, Blind Spot is a comedy about a gay journalist who is going blind. While coming to terms with her impending disability, the protagonist must battle her homophobic sister in a deadly game of sibling rivalry. Directed by Genie Croft, the reading features actresses Pilar Uribe, Wendy Michaels, Jackie Rivera, Majorie O'Neill-Butler and Carol Sussman.

The staged reading will be performed at the new GLCC building, The Pride Center at Equality Park. (2040 North Dixie Hwy., Wilton Manors, FL 33305).
