Animal rights Dahlia Canes is confronted about her obsession with saving the furry and feathered creatures of the world.  A little introspection and a couple of cocktails is all it takes for her to resolve to do more for God’s four-legged & winged creations amongst us. 

As I sit here…listening to Christmas music on my flat screen, mother huge T.V., surrounded by all the gifts I have bought for dear ones…it hit me…the spirit of Christmas! I have tears in my eyes as I realize I have almost spent the entire season missing out on feelings and emotions that are brought about only at this blessed time of the year.

I’ve always admired Whoppi Goldberg as an entertainer and as a person.  But her recent defense of NFL player Michael Vick’s acts of cruelty towards animals can only be described as ignorant and deplorable.  Come on, Whoppi!  What were you smoking???

On a cold day in hell…April 25, 2007 to be exact, investigators conducting an all out here we come ready or not drug search, entered Michael Vick’s home in Surry County. What they found were 66 dogs, some injured and an assortment of paraphernalia used in dog fighting.
