Television talk show extraordianire  Ellen DeGeneres has wed Portia de Rossi. The couple married over the weekend at their home in Los Angeles. De Rossi wore a pink and cream Zac Posen wedding gown, while DeGeneres wore a matching suit.

Actor Wilson Cruz and GaySoFla.com Associate Editor Geo Bustamante have joined dozens of prominent Latinos in endorsing Senator Obama for President of the United States.  In an open letter to members of the LGBT Latino community, the group cites Obama’s consistent overtures of support to both the immigrant and gay communities.  The following is the letter in its entirety.    

Sunday’s shooting at a Knoxville church by an unemployed truck driver was prompted by the alleged gunman’s hatred of gays and anger over the church’s support for liberal causes, police said on Monday.

Las Vegas leaders of The Mormon Church  have excommunicated a man who created a calendar that featured shirtless hunky missionaries.  The calendar, conceived and produced by church member Chad Hardy, featured 12 young male missionaries wearing black slacks but not their trademark white shirts.
