“We have a stellar line up of DJs and performers for the event,” exclaims Give Me a Beat Productions’ George Maiko Coronado.  The excited marketing director is referring to his Winter Music Conference party, Sunflower, taking place this Wednesday, March 26, at Halo Lounge in South Beach. 

A cacophony of drum machines and mixing tables will fill the south Florida air this week as Winter Music Conference kicks off.  The week long electronic music event has been held every March in Miami since the mid 1980s and attracts an array of international professionals such as DJs, record label representatives and promoters, with as much as 30% of the attendees coming from outside the United States.  The event is attended by a who's who of the electronic music scene, and it is a sought-after place to network, premiere tracks and showcase skills. 

Maximus 3000, JST (Boston), Oren Nizri (Miami), Randy Bettis (NYC), and Julian Marsh (Fort Lauderdale) will be among the djs and producers spinning at Wednesday night's Sunflower.  Presented by Coronado’s music marketing & pr firm, along with Bill Friar Entertainment and Sister 8025 Music Group, the night will also showcase the talents of a diverse slate of Billboard hit performers including Jenna Drey, Lauren Hildebrandt, Ebonee Excell, Jacinta and AMUKA.  The beats start thumping at 7:00 pm and the music doesn’t stop until three in the morning.
